Togay's Agenda: Finding Optimal Pathway to Overcome Crisis

The conference program of the International Real Estate Investment forum PROESTATE 2015 is focused on investment in the changed economic environment. Pavel Goncharov, Director of PROESTATE forum, Vice-President of the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers, will share details of the Forum’s conference program.

- How are you planning the investment talk at PROESTATE?
No doubt, talk on investment today is not so easy, we cannot be as optimistic as several years ago. But I can remind that in the critical 2008-2009 real estate professionals also met at PROESTATE to discuss investment. And back then the forum helped real estate companies to choose the right development strategy. On 1st day market leaders will gather to share ideas and find solutions to stimulate real estate market growth. PROESTATE conference program reflects most relevant market problems and tendencies. The 2nd day of PROESTATE conference program focuses on practical solutions to keep business liquidity for different market sectors. One of the key discussion is to find alternative sources of funding and solutions, which work not only in the capital, but in regions too.
This year PROESTATE forum will host regional delegates from Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod and Tula region, Ekaterinburg and Khabarovsk region. And we are expecting Moscow and St. Petersburg authorities and business leaders to join the forum.

- I guess this year the discussion will be joined by new participants. The Association of Moscow investors and the Committee for the implementation of investment projects in construction and supervision of participatory construction (Moskomstroyinvest) have entered the PROESTATE organizers team.
You are right. PROESTATE 2015 is organized by the Association of Moscow investors, the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers, ARE, supported by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the RF, the Government of Moscow, the Committee for the implementation of investment projects in construction and supervision of participatory construction (Moskomstroyinvest), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF. The forum will be opened by Minster Mikhail Men’.

- What other principal changes will the conference program 2015 have?
This year PROESTATE exhibition and conference program have an even closer relationship. The exhibition offers 4 thematic clusters: Investment Park, Innovation Park, Architecture lounge, Environment for comfortable living. The clusters participants will be Moscow and regional developers, architectural studios, engineering companies. The exhibition space also provides lounge zones for comfortable business communication.
Moreover, the 3rd day of PROESTATE forum has been changed significantly. This year the last day of the forum will be more practical: the participants are invited to site visits to the top residential and construction projects of Moscow. The projects included into the program: Central Children’s Store at Lubyanka, Business center White Gardens, Business district Bankside, Masterslavl: The City of Craftsmen, Residential complex Barkli Park.

- The conference program also has educational events. What are they?
Academy of Real Estate (ARE) developed a unique capacity building program Development blitz: Project lifecycle from A to Z. The course comprises all stages of real estate project development: conceptual planning, choice of land plots, BIM (Building Information Modeling), construction project management, management of delivered buildings and tenant relations. On the 2nd day of the forum BOMA Office Floor Measurement Standards Seminar will be organized. The course lecturer is Aleksander Horosh, Architect, Partner of MKV Architects. Kent Gibson, Chair and Chief Elected Officer of BOMA, President of Capstone Property Management will share his experience of BOMA Standards practical use.
ARE program also includes interactive IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) master-class: Effective Development Strategies of Management Companies in a Changeable Market: Practical Recommendations from the Eugene Burger Management Corporation.
